Program: B.Ed.

B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education)

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is a two-year undergraduate professional program designed to prepare individuals for careers in teaching and education by providing a strong foundation in educational theory, pedagogy, and classroom practices. It is important because it develops competent and reflective teachers who play a crucial role in shaping learners’ knowledge, skills, values, and overall development, thereby contributing to the quality of education and societal progress. During the program, students study subjects such as educational psychology, teaching methodologies, curriculum development, assessment and evaluation, and inclusive education, along with practical training through teaching practice, internships, and school-based activities, while also developing skills in communication, classroom management, critical thinking, and professional ethics, enabling them to pursue careers as school teachers, educational administrators, curriculum designers, or continue with higher studies in education.
